Job Description
This hybrid Account Services / Strategy intern will split time working with an account manager and a strategist, supporting the business through project management, creating timelines, and developing budgets on the account management side while actively researching trends, conducting consumer research, and conducting competitive intelligence on the strategy side for existing and new clients. The qualified candidate will work on exciting projects and collaborations while exploring a career interest in experiential marketing. During this internship will develop skills and gain industry experience.
Office Hours: Monday – Friday from 10:00am – 5:00pm
- In person - Tues/Thurs (Inspira Marketing 50 Washington St. Norwalk, CT)
- Work from home - Mon/Wed/Fri
Average Hours: 25-30 hours per week
Compensation: This is an hourly paid internship with 1 hour unpaid lunch
This internship will begin on May 20, 2024 and end on August 2, 2024. Candidate must be available for all 11 weeks of the internship.
Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Assist with ideas and initiatives surrounding programming and point of sale
- Data entry and review, when necessary
- Participate in team brainstorms on strategy and activation ideas for new projects
- Participate in a team leadership orientation
- Participate in client calls and status updatesÂ
- Preparation of reports - understanding the fundamentals of creating a deck incorporating facts, statistics, intro slides and storytellingÂ
- Conduct competitive intelligence
- Utilize paths of purchase to support competitive research
- Conduct consumer research
- Marketing Research – identifying trends and conducting industry research that fit the brand campaigns and industry at large
Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal skills with a focus on email communication
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Mac
- Organization skills
- Presentation experience
- Self-starter and detail oriented
- Creative and strategic thinker
- Pulse on current trends and pop cultureÂ
- Ability to understand and analyze data
- Utilize subscription services for category consumer and market research
- Excellent internet researching skills
- Ability to synthesize and summarize information
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively and thrive in a face-paced environment
Additional Information
The base compensation range for this internship is $16.00-$19.00 hourly. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related skills and qualifications, length of service and geographic location.Â
