Account Specialist I - Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)
This position is for a highly motivated, innovative team member eager to learn and be Safeguard's primary point of contact to some of the auto industry's largest dealership partners supporting their programs, products, and product distribution network. As an Account Specialist, you will be both a functional and technical specialist, responsible for supporting and fostering our partners growth and expansion through product management and development. You will collaborate with a diverse professional team that is both friendly and supportive, focused on a common vision to build best-in-class solutions. Essential Functions:
- Provides exceptional service and daily support to designated clients on programs, products, services, and initiatives.
- Receives and returns phone calls and emails from designated clients in a timely manner, working with various departments throughout the organization to manage the resolution of client questions and issues.
- Receives and answers program-related and process questions from clients, dealers, and consumers and from other internal departments.
- Supports sales force for designated accounts including providing program related information and serving as a liaison with internal departments.
- Works with various departments to reconcile claims, cancellations, and accounting inquiries.
- Review and distribute reports for generating mailers for consumer fulfillment
- Initiates, manages, executes system set-up for new clients/accounts/overrides/incentives.
- Works with client and internal teams for set up including communicating any necessary licensing, and compliance, as well as ensuring account has correct form and rate set up.
- Provides dealer credentials to necessary portals and programs.
- Provides assistance on dealer integration.
- Tests portal and other contracting systems to ensure products are returning correctly.
- Assists with providing dealer with marketing, and training.
- Provides communication and support to departments with regard to new products, product changes, rate changes, new forms, etc.
- Manages supply ordering & product inventory for designated clients.
- Assists with the disbursement of incentive payments, overrides and bonus programs.
- Effectively communicates daily responsibilities to senior managers, team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Other work as assigned by Account Manager and Account Director
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred but not required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; Word; Excel; PowerPoint; Outlook.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate at a business level.
- Strong work ethic, time management and organizational skills.
- Detail oriented, able to catch and identify discrepancies.
- Proactive problem solver able to provide input and think critically through solutions.
- Self-starter able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Schedule flexibility, willing to work additional evening or weekend hours when and if necessary.
