About the Role:

The Account Strategist will serve as the account lead for a portfolio of MVP customers helping to create strategic alignment through understanding their business objectives and success criteria, sharing best practices, providing solution guidance, managing project delivery and helping them realize full value from MVP’s suite of technology products and services.

This is a highly consultative role that requires strategic planning, project management, and data analysis skills to power unique and valuable client strategies. A successful Account Strategist is measured by their ability to demonstrate the value of MVP and leverage this value to build long-term client relationships as the trusted advisor to help retain and assist in the growth of their account portfolio.

For the right candidate, this position’s responsibilities can be fulfilled remotely.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and manage a portfolio of strategic accounts to create and execute a comprehensive client engagement strategy that proactively maintains high customer satisfaction and strong alignment towards customer objectives
  • Develop and nurture key stakeholder relationships to increase client retention, uncover upsell opportunities, and create brand advocacy; creating opportunities for internal and external Sales Directors to expand revenue
  • Serve as the MVP subject matter expert (SME) and as a trusted ally to clients, providing best practices and guidance that enable growth in stakeholder outcomes
  • Create and manage the timely distribution of high quality client deliverables, with a specific focus on storytelling using data and analytics
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to inform purposeful product and services improvements, utilizing specific context gathered from client feedback

What We'd Like You To Have:

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a customer success or analytical field at an agency, brand, property group, or software company
  • Direct account and portfolio management experience including brand strategy, account planning and project management
  • Demonstrated relationship-building skills with customers
  • Ability to think analytically towards client data and marketing results
  • Exceptional oral, written and presentation skills targeted at executive audiences
  • Must demonstrate proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in an autonomous, fast-paced environment with high expectations and short deadlines with a sense of urgency in solving client issues

It’s A Plus If You Have:

  • Understanding of omnichannel media measurement concepts and campaign metrics (social, broadcast, digital marketing)
  • Understanding of sports marketing and sponsorships concepts preferred or the ability to learn
  • Familiarity with Asana, Slack, Confluence and Google Suite
