The Account Supervisor will be the primary day-to-day contact supporting direct marketing programs for our clients. You will be responsible for leading the management and implementation of client programs and initiatives while ensuring timely and flawless execution.
The Account Supervisor is a critical role and has the following core responsibilities:
- Work across Epsilon to support a variety of client programs/needs, which may include coordinating efforts among Data/Analytics, Digital/Email, Creative, Print Production, Warehouse/Fulfillment, Accounting/Billing, Third Party vendors (as applicable), etc.
- Own program management by establishing clear/thorough requirements and timelines and proactively following through to ensure accurate, efficient and timely execution.
- Supervise production activities to ensure quality and accuracy of email, direct mail and digital materials; review all creative/data proofs and provide signoffs.
- Work closely with the data manager to ensure production data is accurate, timely and delivered to the appropriate partners.
- Working with the client, develop and manage campaign offer matrices to support monthly program execution.
- Participate in the development of strategic direct marketing plans/programs to meet client business objectives.
- Work with Analytics/Account leads/Client to develop test plans, as well as to assist in the analysis and reporting of results to the client as needed.
- Identify opportunities to increase the efficiency and profitability of internal agency processes and client programs.
- Manage project estimating, billing and reconciliation.
- Issue reports, results, statuses and proposals to client as needed.
In addition to the above, on a general level, an Account Supervisor at Epsilon is expected to:
- Develop strong client/team relationships.
- Ensure all client requests are handled in a timely manner.
- Perform successfully in role while working independently with limited direct supervision.
- Be extremely organized and detail-oriented with a tremendous recall for your day-to-day activities.
- Have the ability to thrive in an environment that encourages a "roll up your sleeves" work approach.
- Resolve conflict or issues quickly and in a professional manner, as well as work closely with client and internal teams to prevent future issues.
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of the client's business and product lines to establish credibility with client.
- Monitor competitive activities and provide recommendations to client based on opportunities identified.
Additional background/skills required:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing or Communications preferred
- Seven to nine years relevant experience in direct marketing management. Thorough understanding of database, direct marketing and creative principles and concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint expertise; MS Project experience a plus
- Proven track record in execution of detailed projects and ability to demonstrate critical decision-making skills
