Account Supervisor, Health Digital
Job Description
Edelman has an opportunity for an Account Supervisor to join our talented and award-winning digital health team in our Washington, D.C., New York, Chicago, Dallas, or Atlanta offices. In this role, you will have the opportunity to help a global pharmaceutical company communicate with healthcare professionals, policymakers, and other health stakeholders about innovative products that have a profound effect on people’s lives. You will plan and manage digital communications and marketing techniques to help clients achieve their objectives.Â
Â
Edelman is a new kind of agency, at the intersection of PR, advertising, social, digital, and experiential. We blur the lines between each medium to create smart, innovative, and powerful work that gets people talking and engaging with brands in new ways. We’re passionate, unconventional, and driven by a desire to do the best work possible. We get results for our clients. We also laugh a lot. Every day.Â
Â
Who you are:Â
You are fueled by data yet constantly curious. You stay up to speed with the ever-changing digital and social world and are the first to know about the newest platforms. You geek out on behavioral data and love the feeling of knowing you’re reaching your target audience in the right place, at the right time, with awesome content. You have a passion for bettering lives through innovations in healthcare.Â
Â

The Digital Account Supervisor is creative by nature but driven by data, helping to develop unique integrated brand experiences that resonate. The programs you’ll work on are buzz-worthy and digital at their core, though they can take any shape or form. You will help solve client challenges and tell their stories across platforms and channels – you’ll get to push boundaries because you have the data to back it.Â
Â
The diverse work includes writing cohesive content, social and digital strategies, and leading the execution of the campaigns and programs. You’re also familiar with judging content performance through analyzing key metrics.
Responsibilities:

- Serve as daily client contact, digital/social strategist, and client lead when appropriate; address client issues thoughtfully and effectivelyÂ
- Consistently produce high-quality external digital communications content including social media and website contentÂ
- Demonstrate excellent writing skills with a knack for storytelling and creating highly engaging content within the healthcare space
- Work collaboratively with the account and client teams to outline approaches to digital strategy, ensuring the content strategy ladders back to the business priorities
- Build relationships with internal specialists (paid media, content, creative, planning, analytics, etc.) and senior stakeholders to meet client needsÂ
- Show tactical proficiency in digital and social strategy, including creating and driving integrated execution plansÂ
- Mine available digital data (client, third-party, syndicated) for actionable insights and business intelligence and know how to strategically leverage clients’ data ecosystems (e.g., CRM/first-party data)Â
- Show up as an expert in the latest digital platforms and best practices to translate content strategies effectively within the digital ecosystem and ensure creative is designed to performÂ
- Have a deep understanding of available measurement tools and methodologies to ensure programs are tied to performance metricsÂ
- Contribute to business growth through introducing clients to new capabilities, building a network of industry contacts, and participating in relevant professional organizationsÂ
- Commit to continuous learning and improvement of leadership skills; set and pursue stretch goalsÂ
- Demonstrate behaviors consistent with Edelman’s values and Code of Ethics and Business ConductÂ
Basic Qualifications:
- At least 4+ years of relevant experience in digital marketing, advertising, communications social media, or content teams with an agency or in-house background
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
