  • Agency Services: brand consulting, creative, content production, digital, experiential marketing, field marketing, hospitality, social media marketing, and sponsorship consulting
  • Properties – owned-and-operated live sports and lifestyle events and media assets airing on broadcast and digital networks

Intersport is seeking to add a smart and driven marketer to its Agency Services team. The Agency Services team is integral to providing existing clients with a variety of solutions to help them reach their business and brand objectives. The Account Supervisor (AS) is responsible for all aspects of sponsorship consulting management and execution for the client they are assigned and ensures that work is provided in a high-quality, timely, cost-effective manner. An AS is expected to run all aspects of a piece of business and is someone seeking ownership and corresponding accountability for highly strategic content and social media focused responsibilities. The AS will be assigned to a variety of pieces of business focused on sports and entertainment sponsorships.



Responsibilities

General

  • Embody and reflect Intersport’s performance-based culture and commits him/herself and team to the highest standards for all agency work
  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver executional excellence

Client Management & Communication

  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding and a passion for his/her clients’ industry, business, consumer and brands, including an understanding of their competitive set and industry while updating them on industry trends and best practices
  • Establish himself/herself as a trusted strategic business partner to the client and agency partners
  • Demonstrate leadership and presence in meetings and client interaction
  • Lead coordination and administration of regular conference calls and meetings

Sponsorship Consulting

  • Lead the management of various client-sponsored sports and entertainment property relationships
  • Provide strategic direction on sponsorship asset utilization, activation, and planning

Event Execution

  • Oversee event-related strategy development and planning
  • Oversee on-site program execution including training, troubleshooting, consumer/client engagement, and reporting

Program & Project Management

  • Create and maintains administrative documents in a clear, concise and detailed manner for client and agency backup including points of view, recaps, reporting, agendas, and timelines
  • Manage the legal process such as contract administration
  • Produce research and competitive analysis
  • Actively contribute in brainstorming and idea generation sessions with cross-functional teams
  • Collaborate with internal Production and Creative Services teams on content creation to ensure consistency with the brand’s messaging priorities, goals, and aesthetic

Team Management

  • Work collaboratively with all members of integrated team
  • Help train/provide feedback to junior team members

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Six (6) to eight (8) years’ relevant professional experience in a marketing role at an agency, brand, media company, sports or entertainment property, or related organization
  • Experience managing holistic brand strategies and seeing the execution through multiple marketing channels
  • Ability to manage multiple programs/projects concurrently, inclusive of a detail oriented and organized approach
  • Well-rounded, creative thinker
  • Strong in account planning (specifically strategy), as well as project management
  • Application of superior prioritization and time-management skills
  • Ability to produce high quality work at a fast pace
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proactive, team player with a strong work ethic
  • Previous experience with daily contact with clients and support teams
  • Exemplary written and oral communication skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word; proficiency in Excel
  • Ability to travel for business on trips typically lasting between two to five days
  • Polished, professional demeanor, projects confidence and enthusiasm for the business
