Accountant

About the Role

We're on the hunt for a super motivated and detail-loving Accountant to join our Finance team. The dream candidate will be a major player in handling day-to-day accounting, making our finance processes even better, and ensuring our financial statements are spot on. You'll also dive into some more challenging pieces of accounting like financial analysis, preparing budgets, and audit support. This opportunity offers the chance to develop your skills and advance within the organization while contributing to our financial accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Complete weekly invoicing of customers for products and services contracted
• Manage accounts receivable balances - answering customer questions, payment details, and customer collections 
• Assist with company accounts payable management
• Support month end close activities, including bank reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement reviews 
• Work with other departments to ensure alignment to and satisfaction of documented accounting processes and workflow
• Assist the team with ASC 606 revenue recognition and other GAAP policy implementation and management
• Support any review or audit efforts from the Accounting team

Skillset

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• At least 2 years of accounting experience
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Experience in public accounting and/or CPA a plus
• ASC 606 experience a plus

Compensation: $75,000 annually
