Accountant

The Global Finance team ensures financial operations and financial reporting and controls run efficiently. The role of General Ledger Accountant would suit someone partly or recently qualified and who would like to develop a finance career as part of an established team in a fast growth and dynamic business.

What you’ll do as the General Ledger Accountant:​

• Key member and contributor to the monthly close process, including processing of entries in ERP system (Workday) and analytical review of results
• Oversee daily transactions including general ledger and bank reconciliations
• Perform balance sheet account reconciliations
• Assist with annual financial statement audits by providing analysis and supporting documentation
• Assist with local tax filings by providing reports and supporting documentation
• Assist with various ad-hoc projects
• Assist in establishing accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency

What we're open to seeing​:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or finance related
• Professional accounting qualification desirable
• Ideally 1-3 years accounting or audit experience
• Strong interpersonal skills with others and ability to communicate in a clear concise manner
• Ability to identify potential issues, resolve if possible and escalate as needed
• Proficient with ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and experience with accounting software (Workday preferred, but not necessary)
• Professional with a strong understanding of accounting in US GAAP
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks with guidance
• Strong attention to detail
• Proactive and able to work independently
