About The Opportunity

The Accountant will offer accounting and compliance assistance to accomplish financial and operational program goals. This position entails analyzing accounting data, maintaining various financial reports, and ensuring the precision of financial transactions. It holds significant importance within the group, as you will be responsible for managing our accounting records and enhancing your functional expertise.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Overseeing the entirety of our accounting records
• Handling tax filings with BIR
• Managing the monthly salary process and payroll
• Proactively identifying and resolving potential compliance issues
• Maintaining regular communication with BIR and other government agencies to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Collaborating with other teams to achieve common objectives.
• Supervising local accounting third-party providers, including tax-related matters
• Coordinating local banking activities, including KYC procedures
• Serving as the primary point of contact for any local accounts payable issues

What You Will Bring To The Table

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in accountancy or finance
• Experience in internal audit and familiarity with BIR procedures
• At least 1-3 years of relevant experience as an Accountant
• A thorough understanding of BIR filing requirements, staying updated with the current TRAIN Law
• Consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
