Accountant

We are looking for a reliable Cloud-based Accountant to help expand our client accounting and advisory services by assisting our clients in making critical business decisions by analyzing and presenting key financial data on regularly scheduled weekly calls. You will oversee accounting procedures, create workflows, and budgets to best assist each client in their journey. An excellent accountant must have an exceptional mathematical mind combined with a strong business orientation. You must assume responsibility for cost accounting tasks and be both a strategist and a decision-maker. The goal is to contribute to the decision-making process of management that will ensure business growth and long-term success.

• Advise on problems and suggest improvements
• Evaluate the company's performance using key data
• Assume responsibility for accounting procedures
• Gather and analyze financial information for internal use
• Maintain and manage the software stack regularly to adjust that there is a clean workflow and process of data transfer.
• Comply with financial policies and regulations
• Gather and monitor financial data (e.g. sales revenues and liabilities)
• Perform month-end and year-end close processes
• Manage all of the month, quarter and annual, balance sheet adjustments
• Analyze financial trends and present KPI's
• Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
• Publish financial statements in time

Requirements

• Solid knowledge of basic and advanced accounting and financial principles and practices
• Excellent knowledge of cost accounting and reporting
• Working knowledge of financial software and MS Office
• Analytical mind with aptitude in math
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• A problem-solver with attention to detail
• BSc/BA in accounting, finance or similar field
• 2+ years experience working in QuickBooks Online
• Experience with general ledger functions
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
