Accountant

Summary

Under general supervision, this role completes a variety of moderately complex accounting activities involving compilation, consolidation, and analysis of financial data.

Key Responsibilities

• Performs general or cost accounting activities requiring some insight into the "why" as well as the "how".
• Creates reports on financial performance for internal and external use.
• Maintains financial records in accordance with GAAP and organizational standards.
• Preparation of account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger including preparing journal entries for assigned area(s) and providing clear, precise documentation of work performed.
• Desire to learn and understand assigned businesses with a focus on customer service and compliance.

Typical Education

Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Accounting from 4 year college or university

Relevant Experience

3+ years related experience and/or training
