Accountant

Vibra-Tech Engineers, Inc., a seismic consulting company is searching for an Accountant. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the Chief Financial Officer with various accounting tasks, including, but not limited to, preparing financial statements, reconciling back accounts, providing support for various accounting projects and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. Compensation is based on experience.

What You’ll Be Doing:
 

• Assist with the monthly preparation of financial statements
• Prepare journal entries for month end closing
• Review and management of expense reports
• Provide support with various projects, such as cost accounting
• Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
• Assist with tax preparation and filing
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned

Your Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• 5 years accounting experience as senior accountant or financial management
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to analyze financial information
• Self-motivated and self-directed
• Ability to work closely with senior management team
• Ability to problem solve
