Great opportunity as an Accountant in The Kitchen Showcase!

The ideal candidate possesses a proven operational accounting background and works proactively to get results. This person is a self-starter, flexible, has a high level of integrity and takes action in a fast-paced, team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and/or review the reconciliation of accounts, post journal entries and maintain a complete and accurate general ledger in accordance with accounting principles and reporting schedules so that the organization has a full and accurate statement of its financial position.
• Participate in scheduled accounting cycles and adhere to associated deadlines (e.g. month-end, year-end, etc.).
• Check and analyze financial information and prepare more complex financial reports and accounting statements so that senior management has accurate and timely information for making financial decisions.
• Review financial reports and accounting statements to ensure their accuracy.
• Handle, operate, and participate in two company-wide semi-annual physical inventory audits and assist in cycle count audits.
• Participate and lead where needed in the ERP system implementation
• Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices.
• Ensure compliance with internal control policies in a SOX environment.
• Serve as contact for HQ and field operational requests for both internal and external audits.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and/or equivalent experience.
• CPA a plus.
• 2+ years of accounting and/or audit experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of GAAP; cost accounting a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Process improvement mindset.
• Attention to detail, demonstrated integrity and professionalism.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize a diverse range of tasks.
• Proven ability to perform under pressure and stress and to adjust plans to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Experience with financial and accounting reporting systems
• Distribution and/or retail experience a plus.
• NetSuite experience a plus

Pay Range:

$4,550.00 - $6,038.00

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
