How you’ll make an impact

Spotnana is searching for an Accountant to join our growing global team. This key role will report to the Director of Accounting & FinOps and partner with stakeholders across the business to help develop, refine and enhance our existing accounting close processes. The ideal candidate has a track record of excellent interpersonal and critical thinking skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams across our organization to support our accounting processes and provide accurate and timely financial insights.  It is an exciting opportunity to be part of building a world class accounting team!  


What you’ll own

  • Provide critical support to maintain corporate accounting records. 
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial close process in accordance with GAAP
  • Prepare month-end and recurring journal entries
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts
  • Help to identify and support process improvements that increase accuracy and efficiency
  • Support compliance tasks and reporting as may be needed for sales taxes, 1099’s, etc.
  • Help to identify trends or issues that require management's attention
  • Assist with cash flow monitoring, forecasting, and budgeting processes
  • Special projects as assigned

Experience to bring with you

  • Bachelor's in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field, CPA a plus
  • 1-3+ years of accounting or related experience, travel or technology experience a plus
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and application to accounting processes
  • Advanced excel, MS office, and/or G Suite skills
  • Experience with ERP systems, MS Dynamics preferred
  • Solid communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with partners and cross functional teams
  • Attention to detail and proactive approach
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workload
  • Commitment to continued improvement as demonstrated by streamlining processes
  • Flexible in a fast paced and rapidly change environment

Spotnana strives to offer fair, industry-competitive and equitable compensation. Our approach holistically assesses total compensation, including cash, company equity and comprehensive benefits. Our market-based compensation approach uses data from trusted third party compensation sources to set salary ranges that are thoughtful and consistent with the role, industry, company size, and internal equity of our team. Each employee is paid within the minimum and maximum of their position’s compensation range based on their skills, experience, qualifications, and other job-related specifications. 


The annual cash compensation for this role is: $60,000-$80,000
