Community West Foundation supports the Cleveland Clinic in running events for Fairview and Lutheran hospitals and providing program-related grants to both hospitals. The benefits offered by the Cleveland Clinic are a substantial benefit to working at Community West. The caregiver should report to the office daily (M-F) and occasionally evening and weekend events.
A caregiver in this position works days, 8:00am—4:00pm.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:

Prepare general ledger entries with monthly closing processes and reconcile general ledger accounts.

Perform departmental analysis as required or requested.

Assist with the development and administration of the organization's annual budget.
-
Serve as an interdepartmental liaison and works with external auditors to prepare for and facilitate audits.

Ensure departmental and organizational compliance with current accounting standards, hospital policies and applicable laws and regulations.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or other business area.
-
Strong computer skills needed, including proficiency in working with spreadsheets and database management software.
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
-
Accounting or finance internship experience.
-
Experience with Microsoft Office products

Physical Requirements:

Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.

Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.

Ability to work with physical records or operate a computer or other office equipment.

In some locations, ability to travel throughout the hospital system.

In some locations ability to move up to 25 lbs.
