Job Description
General Summary
The Accountant is responsible for assisting in the completion of monthly, quarterly and year-end accounting activities. This position will prepare journal entries, account reconciliations and various accounting analyses.Â
Job Functions
- Responsible for general ledger accounting.
- Review and enter monthly journal entries (recurring, accruals, fixed assets, payroll, benefits, etc.) and adjusts entries to the general ledger.
- Review general ledger accounts/sub ledgers and prepares supporting schedules on a monthly basis.
- Prepare monthly bank and general ledger reconciliations.
- Prepare related party invoices and complete respective monthly accounting.
- Prepare monthly analytics on balance sheet and income statement accounts.
- Assist with annual financial statement audit and tax preparation.
- Provide support to Production Accounting/AP team as necessary.
- Assist in all areas of the Finance & Accounting Department with research and projects.
Qualifications
- 4 year Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2 - 5 years of directly related accounting experience (2 years of public accounting experience preferred).
- Functional understanding of accounting, methodologies and procedures.
- Familiarity with US GAAP and preparation of financial statements.
- Excellent analytical and computer skills (extensive experience in Microsoft Excel).
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and work accurately/independently while meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills.

Location
On-site in Hillsboro, OR and also eligible for hybrid work.
Salary
Salary is commensurate with skills and experience.
