Our Accounting team works in-office one day per week - because of this, we are looking for someone local to St. Louis, MO. 

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly close activities including bank reconciliations, journal entries, GAAP entries, commissions/bonus and royalty calculations 
• Manage month-, quarter- and year-end close in timely and accurate manner
• Ensure sales tax compliance 
• Assist with annual audits 
• Cross-train and develop knowledge of Salesforce.com bookings procedures to serve as technical resource to client-facing teams 
• Assist Accounting Clerk with day-to-day as necessary, serving as backup 

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance 
• 2-3 years of experience in accounting 
• Experience in public accounting and/or in a SaaS accounting environment is a plus, but not required. 
• Understanding of GAAP
• Comfortable with revenue recognition, and the financial close process
• Experience with Sage Intacct and SalesForce (preferred, but not required) 
• Expert in MS Excel; proficient in Word and PowerPoint
• Ability to organize resources and establish priorities
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written 
• Strong work ethic and sense of urgency
