Job Description
- Initiate and manage the collections process to ensure timely receipt of payments.Â
- Monitor customer accounts, identify overdue payments, and implement effective strategies to minimize outstanding receivables.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure accurate and timely invoicing of customers.
- Ensure revenue recognition per accounting standards under ASC606.
- Perform timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual close process.
- Prepare journal entries and reconciliation schedules to support the preparation of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
- Analyze monthly financial results and variances across accounts.
- Be the primary contact for the full purchase cycle and manage procure-to-pay process.
- Review employees’ T&E expenses for reimbursement, according to company policy.
- Assist in defining, implementing, and improving internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.
- Contribute to system implementation/enhancements affecting accounting operations and financial reporting.
- You’ll support Loop’s financial audit, including responding to audit inquiries and preparation of supporting audit schedules.
- Support business teams on ad-hoc analysis and projects
- You’ve completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; a CPA is a plus for us.
- At least 2 years of experience in full-cycle accounting, preferably for a software company or in a subscription business environment.
- Knowledge and ability to apply U.S. GAAP standards and audit concepts and requirements.
- We’d love to hear from you if you have experience using ERP systems (like Quickbooks or NetSuite) or other complex accounting software systems.
- You consider yourself a Microsoft Excel specialist (v-lookups and pivot tables).
