CLA is seeking an Accountant to join our fast-growing Regulated team.

As an Accountant, you will assist and provide services to clients, with a primary focus on gaining exposure to a particular industry. You will utilize your educational and experienced background to work as part of a team on various stages of an engagement or project.

Job Responsibilities:

• Expands industry knowledge through greater exposure to peers, clients, regular self-study, and formal training opportunities.
• Gains experience, exposure, and knowledge of audit procedures, workpapers and systems.
• Handles routine client questions and works with client to collect necessary information for audit completion.
• Supports multiple client engagements on time and within budget, identifying issues and communicating progress.
• Collects and analyzes data to detect deficient controls, duplicated efforts, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies.
• Assists with the detail work of audits, reviews, compilations, and other assurance services for clients.
• Completes research and special projects as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of the basic accounting concepts

Education

• Two year degree required. Five years of equivalent work experience may be considered as a degree equivalent in some cases. Individuals with greater experience and education may wish to pursue this as a career path option as well.
