Job Description
Jockey is looking for an Accountant for their corporate office in the greater Milwaukee area!

The Accountant will assist with the timely and accurate preparation of financial reports and statements for management use through general ledger input, analysis and reconciliation.
SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Timely and accurate completion of assigned month end close functions.
- Monthly accounting for assigned business/service units.
- Prepare various monthly and quarterly schedules and reconciliations for assigned general ledger accounts.
- Monitor interfaces into the general ledger from various subsystems and determine corrective measures for any errors processed to the general ledger.
- Assist with year-end financial audit schedule preparation.
- Preparation of federally mandated census reports on a monthly/quarterly basis.
- Create and distribute various financial reports.
- Perform special projects as requested.
- Financial support to business units as requested.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
- Working towards or obtained advanced degree/certification desirable (CPA, CMA, MBA).
- Minimum one year of general accounting experience (internship experience accepted).
- Basic knowledge of a general ledger system.
- Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills required.
- Good written and oral communication skills, organizational and time management skills.
