Accountant

Korn Ferry has partnered with an oil and gas client on the West side of Houston in their search for a Sr. Accounting Analyst.This is a 1 year contract engagement, with the potential to extend. This position is 100% in-office.

Responsibilities

• Reconciliation of refined product volumes
• Month end close and reporting, including journal entries, financial reporting, variance analysis.
• Provide support to management team in the development, implementation and oversight of internal controls.
• Work with schedulers, traders and other front office to resolve issues, as well as counterparties
• Assist with internal and external audits

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business-related Field
• Minimum 8+ years of relevant accounting & industry experience required
• SAP software experience required
• Blackline is preferred
• Oil & Gas experience
