Accountant

You will provide financial leadership and responsibility for all accounting aspects at Intrinsic.  You are enthusiastic and a self-starter, wanting to design new and enhance existing processes; scoping, designing, and implementing new and scalable processes to support Intrinsic’s growth.  You will collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, Legal, Internal Audit, External Reporting, Technical Accounting and other Finance teams to manage financial risk, and develop and maintain scalable accounting processes to support new partnership arrangements and new products. 

You are empowered to drive efficiency improvements in our month end close and reporting processes; and design new processes and infrastructure as needed.

• Design and maintain effective internal control environment to ensure accuracy of financial accounts
• Review and approve monthly journal entries and corresponding reconciliations
• Present monthly income statement and balance sheet results to Finance leadership and upper level management
• Support new and existing products by leading cross-functional meetings to give accounting guidance on business models and decisions
• Prepare for and assist with internal/external audits.  Document processes, ensure performance of key controls, and obtain/provide support as necessary
• Identify opportunities for process improvements/outsourcing and drive implementation of the solutions
• Partner in the implementation of billing solutions and system migrations  
• Monitor statutory compliance with international controllership

• 4-year degree in Business/Accounting 
• Attention to detail, project management, and organizational skills
• Demonstrated experience in driving process improvement and driving change
• Analytical skills, quantitative, and strong computer desktop skills
• Proven ability to influence across the company and to interact at all levels

• CPA, CA and/or strong working knowledge of US GAAP
• 6+ years of Big 4 accounting firm and/or public company experience 
• Database experience including proficiency in SQL coding to access large data sets from SAP  

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $91,200 - $139,840 + bonus + equity + benefits. Your recruiter will share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
