Accountant

Job Title:Senior Accountant (with HR Experience) Location:San Jose, CA Schedule:Onsite, Monday–Friday About the Role We are seeking a proactive and detail-orientedStaff Accountant or Senior Accountantwith human resources experience to take full ownership of our financial operations while supporting critical HR functions. This is ahands-on, independent position—you will be the go-to resource for both accounting and HR administration in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities • Oversee all aspects of accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, journal entries, and monthly/year-end closings • Prepare accurate financial statements and ensure compliance. • Utilize and maintain proficiency in accounting software systems • Administer payroll and maintain HR records, including onboarding and benefits administration • Support management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning • Assist in HR-related duties such as policy compliance, time-off tracking, and employee recordkeeping Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred) • 5+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing industry experience a plus) • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Human Resources • Proficient in AP/AR processes and general ledger management • Working knowledge of HR practices, including payroll and compliance • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical problem-solving abilities • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities effectively • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Why Join Us?
