You will manage various financial tasks, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation, and financial statement preparation. The ideal candidate has a strong background in financial accounting and is proficient in using accounting software, including Sage Intacct. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, organized and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Duties: • Prepare and record journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations to identify and resolve any discrepancies • Assist with the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements • Process accounts receivable transactions and ensure timely collection of payments • Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information for analysis and reporting purposes • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement • Assist with the implementation of financial controls and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements • Support the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and explanations Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field • Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position • Knowledge of Sage Intacct • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) • Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems • Strong mathematical and analytical skills • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
