Job Title: Accountant / Financial Operations Manager
Location:DFW Area (Hybrid Preferred)
Reports To:Ownership Team
About the Role
We are seeking an experiencedAccountantto oversee the full financial operations of multiple entities β includingreal estate, property management, title, investment, and personal accounts.
This role isnot part of the day-to-day real estate team; instead, it will focus on managing all accounting, payroll, and financial reporting across the organization to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing complex, multi-entity books with both business and personal finances. Youβll act as the financial backbone behind the scenes β maintaining clear systems, clean reconciliations, and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Accounting
β’ Manage accounting for multiple business entities (real estate, title, property management, and personal holdings).
β’ Oversee and reconcile all bank and credit card accounts.
β’ Manage and processaccounts payable/receivableandbill payfor all companies and personal accounts.
β’ Maintain general ledgers and ensure accurate journal entries.
β’ Preparemonthly financial reportsandprofit and loss statementsfor each entity.
β’ Ensurecompliance with tax filing requirements, working directly with external CPAs and tax advisors.
β’ Fully understand classifications, tax laws and requirements
β’ Manage and track inter-company transfers, loans, and distributions.
Payroll & HR Administration
β’ Process payroll for all staff and contractors across entities.
β’ Track bonuses, commissions, and reimbursements.
β’ Ensure compliance with employment and payroll tax regulations.
Budgeting & Cash Flow
β’ Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
β’ Proactively identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for cost optimization.
β’ Maintain cash flow visibility across entities and personal accounts.
Systems & Organization
β’ Maintain QuickBooks Online and other financial systems across all companies.
β’ Implement clear, consistent financial procedures and ensure proper documentation.
β’ Provide clean records and reporting packages to the ownership group each month.
Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
β’ 5+ years of full-charge accounting experience(multi-entity preferred).
β’ Proficiency inQuickBooks Onlineand Excel (experience with bill pay platforms a plus).
β’ Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles.
β’ High level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail.
β’ Excellent communication and organizational skills.
β’ Experience working withreal estate or service-based businessespreferred.
β’ Extensive background check and references required
Compensation & Schedule
β’ Competitive salary, based on experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $62,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
