LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a company in western Nassau County to fill an Accounts Payable & Finance Specialist Opportunity. This is a direct hire opportunity and can pay $70-$90K depending on experience. Hybrid – one day from home. Accounts Payable: • Review, code, and input vendor invoices; ensure proper authorization and sales/use tax compliance. • Determine 1099 eligibility and assist with annual 1099 process. • Process payments (checks, ACH), obtain signatures, and mail payments. • Handle positive pay exceptions and research uncashed checks for reissue. • Review vendor statements, resolve payment inquiries, and process expense reimbursements (Chrome River). General Ledger: • Prepare journal entries and monthly account analyses. • Assist with matter/employee maintenance in Aderant. Accounts Receivable: • Record incoming wires/checks and process client credit card payments. • Investigate payments with missing remittance info.
