Accountant - Accounts Payable

Crestline Investors, Inc., founded in 1997 and based in Fort Worth, Texas, is an institutional alternative investment management firm. Crestline specializes in credit and opportunistic investments, including financing and restructuring solutions for mature private equity funds. In addition, the firm manages a multi-PM equity market-neutral hedge fund, and provides beta and hedging solutions for institutional clients. The company maintains affiliate offices in New York City, London, Toronto and Tokyo.

Crestline is seeking a Corporate Accountant who will primarily be responsible for accounting, record keeping, financial reporting, and accounts payable for various entities. The position will report to the Corporate Controller. 

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Record the financial activity of various Upper Tier Entities
• Allocate invoice payments to various Crestline entities
• Assist with payment processing 
• Liaise with third parties to ensure accurate records and internal parties concerning accounting matters
• Support financial statement preparation process
• Assist with department related matters for internal and external reporting purposes

Education and Experience Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or bachelor’s degree in an unrelated field with 1 to 2 years of accounting or accounts payable experience
• Investment management firm experience preferred but not required
• General knowledge of partnership accounting preferred but not required
• Broad knowledge of Microsoft applications, especially Excel
