Summary:

A Staff Accountant, Cash Management is responsible for analyzing the cash management activities of a healthcare organization to ensure effective and efficient use of cash resources.

This is a full-time, remote opportunity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Cash flow analysis: Analyzing cash flows, including incoming and outgoing cash, and forecasting future cash flows.
  • Financial reporting: Preparing financial reports, including cash flow statements, to provide accurate and timely information on the organization's cash position.
  • Investment analysis: Analyzing investment options, including short-term investments, to ensure that cash resources are invested in a manner consistent with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Process improvement: Continuously improving cash management processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve the quality of data.

Qualifications:

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field from an accredited university

Required Experience: Three (3) or more years of experience in Accounting/Finance setting and general accounting knowledge.

Preferred Experience: Experience in IT Finance, Project Accounting and Fixed Assets.

Preferred License/Registration/Certification: Six Sigma

Computer Skills Required: Google Suite preferred; willingness to learn Oracle and leverage the training, reporting, and process components to excel at role
