Accountant - Express Scripts - Hybrid

This position will be responsible for preparing and loading month end journal entries to record PBM revenue and cost. This role will also be responsible for preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and assist with monthly margin analysis and SOX controls.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Processing accurate monthly journal entries
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with preparation of margin analysis
• Assist with preparing SOX controls
• Assist internal & external auditors with monthly, quarterly reviews and year-end audit
• Other projects/assignments as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 0-2 years relevant experience
• PC skills, Microsoft Office programs, Strong Excel skills with the ability to easily learn new software.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Self-starter and team player.
• Detail oriented.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate departmental and project deadlines.
• This position is located in our St. Louis office with a hybrid, in-office/work from home, flexible arrangement
