    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This role will report to the Business Controller. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial principles, and the ability to communicate complex financial data clearly. This role involves supporting strategic decision-making processes by providing insightful financial analysis and forecasts.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Financial Analysis and Reporting
      • Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
      • Prepare detailed financial reports, including profit and loss statements.
      • Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning processes.
      • Perform variance analysis to explain differences between actual results and budget/forecast.


    • Budgeting and Forecasting
      • Support the annual budgeting process, working closely within the team to ensure accurate budget submissions.
      • Create and maintain rolling forecasts to provide an up-to-date view of financial performance.
      • Monitor and report on key financial metrics, highlighting potential risks and opportunities to support operational efficiency.


    • Strategic Planning
      • Support the development of strategic plans and initiatives by providing financial insights and analysis.
      • Evaluate business performance and develop recommendations to improve profitability.
      • Track cost performance and report on operational efficiencies and inefficiencies.
      • Participate in special projects.


    • Compliance and Risk Management
      • Ensure financial operations comply with internal policies.
      • Identify and mitigate financial risks through proactive analysis and monitoring.
      • Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.


    Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
    • 2+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, or a similar role.
    • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills.
    • Experience with financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, PowerBI).
    • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial data to various stakeholders.
    • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
