Accountant (Hybrid)

Education Requirement Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance or similar field

Years of experience 5 plus years of accounting experience in General ledger and fixed asset capacity.

4 days onsite, one day work from home.

Accounting Senior Analyst

Support for accounting closing (Monthly, Quarterly & Yearly). Manage the Company’s Fixed Assets including capitalization, depreciation, and verification of asset location and utilization. Review and approve Company’s free of charge (FOC) related requests for customer sample and testing. Assist with inventory management, performance of bi-annual Physical Inventories (PI), and inventory reconciliations. Perform other accounting functions /entries as required including general journal entry recording, account reconciliation, open item management, and identification and clearing of risk items. Responsible for open item management including FSCS, ICMS, and various reporting to management. Various other adhoc accounting assignments as they arise.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for approval, settlement, capitalization, depreciation, and verification of Company’s asset location and utilization

• Responsible for assisting with inventory management, accruals, performance of bi-annual PIs (fixed asset and inventory), cycle counts, and inventory & fixed asset reconciliations.

• Responsible for FOC Request review, analysis, and approval for sample and testing

• Responsible for various accounting accruals, journal entry recording, account reclass, reconciliation, open item management, and risk analysis.

• Responsible for FSCS and ICMS (Internal Control) reporting as related to the Company’s fixed assets and control identification, compliance, and risk mitigation.

• Responsible for month-end closing and audit request pertaining to revenue and fixed asset.

• Various other ad hoc responsibilities and projects as they arise.

Degree/Background/Attributes

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance field with 4-8 years of experience is required.

• 5 plus years of experience in general accounting work.

• Knowledge of Accounting principles and fixed asset management.

• Fast and accurate data entry skills.
