This position will follow a hybrid schedule of 3 days in our office (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays) based in Centennial CO and 2 days from home.
What You Will Be Doing:

• Month/Quarter end close - calculate and record journal entries, question unexpected activity or amounts, coordinate and communicate with partners. Ongoing manage, maintain and reconcile ten plus complex accounts within Accounts Payable and Supplier Accounting Journal entries.
• Lead meetings with supplier accounting, project managers, finance, and accounts payable for these accounts Reconciliations & Analysis - complete detailed reconciliations by understanding the underlying account activity and researching / resolving unusual or aged transactions.
• Reporting - documenting reasons for balance sheet variances and updating quarterly summary schedules.
• Summarize information from multiple sources into a management report to provide high level analysis and recommendations.
• Responsible for review and update internal and external Audit requests and provide the information needed Responsible for review and update of reporting, variance analysis and forecast.
• Identify process problems or issues and escalate appropriately. Working with various departments and teams to help automate the process, evaluate the procedures, and increase efficiency. Cross training with other team members to support their workload as needed.
• Collaborative working sessions with other teams.
• Perform continuing analytical support and other projects.
• Provide direct ongoing support for the other six members in the team.

What We Are Looking For:

• 4-year degree.
• A minimum of 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
• 4 years minimum of strong detailed reconciliation and investigative research experience.
• Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, self-starter and ability to multi-task.
• Strong Excel skills, specifically v-lookups and pivot tables.
• Overtime Expectations: Month ends generally require additional hours for the first two or three days of the close. Quarter ends may require one Saturday to support a timely close process.
• Complete reconciliations and provide necessary analysis, make recommendations Provide preliminary review for the team's reconciliations Evaluates transactions and records to the GL as necessary to ensure the financials are accurate and complete.

The Skills That Will Help You Succeed Even More:

• High volume, public company experience is highly preferred. Strong analytical skills, deadline and detail-oriented, and ability to work independently and multitask.
• Strong familiarity of accounting principles (GAAP).
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, GL systems (Oracle and Hyperion preferred).

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:
$74,000.00 - $92,400.00
Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
