Our office located in Lincoln, RI is seeking an Accountant. The selected individual will be primarily responsible for preparation and initial review of all financial reporting including monthly, quarterly and annual statements and internal management reports, including financial analysis of operating results, as well as ad hoc projects as required.
This position is a 37.5 hour work week Monday through Friday between the core hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm and a hybrid schedule with three days in the office and two days work from home.
Responsibilities:
- All accounting activities relating to the maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger, managerial reports and financial statements.
- Basic interpretation and analysis of accounting ledgers, reports and statements.
- Prepare monthly journal entries and supporting workpapers and schedules.
- Assist with account analysis and management reports.
- Assist with Investment Accounting recurring daily tasks as necessary.
- May be called upon to handle other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, theories and terminology
- Two to four years' experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel in particular
- Pursuing of advanced degree/professional designation recommended, may be CPA exam eligible
