Your Mission

We are looking for an Accountant in Poland to join the Finance team at BlaBlaCar. As an Accountant, your role will be to ensure the implementation of local and corporate accounting standards in two Polish legal entities. You will be reporting to the Finance Manager UA/PL and working with the local, HQ Finance and People teams and external accountants. 

Your responsibilities

• Collecting and posting accounting documents (e.g. invoices, receipts, business trips) and communication with external parties
• Preparing sales invoices 
• Processing business trip settlements 
• Cooperation with HQ Finance and People teams as well as external accounting firm, including reconciling balances on accounts
• Internal communication with management team and other departments on finance related projects

Your qualifications

• Good knowledge of Polish GAAP and basic Polish tax rules
• At least 2-3 years of experience as an accountant
• Full working proficiency in Polish and English
• Basic experience in HR policies and practices is a strong advantage, including experience in settlement of business trips 
• Knowledge of Workday is a strong advantage
• Ability to work independently and to take ownership, aligned with business priorities
