Accountant

Overview We are an architecture firm in the heart of Little Italy, San Diego, seeking a trainable and detail-oriented Part-Time Accountant to join our team. This role offers a flexible schedule and a collaborative work environment. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. Position Details • Hours: ~20 hours per week • Schedule: Flexible – choose your workdays and hours • Location: On-site in Little Italy, San Diego • Compensation: Based on experience Responsibilities • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports. • Perform double entry bookkeeping to ensure all financial transactions are recorded correctly. • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and provide actionable insights. • Manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and collection of payments. • Assist in the preparation of forecasts and budgets to guide financial planning. • Collaborate with public accounting firms during audits and tax preparation. • Monitor debits and credits to maintain balanced accounts.
