Accountant - Remote Position

Under general direction, responsible for completing the day to day general financial accounting processes and the preparation of financial analyses for Advocate Aurora Health (AAH) and its subsidiaries to ensure accurate and timely recording and reporting of financial and statistical data in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), governmental regulations and AAH's accounting policies. Responsible for the timely and accurate completion of assigned audit responsibilities. Assists in the development, implementation and maintenance of AAH's accounting systems, policies and procedures, process improvements and internal controls. Works in close partnership with the Financial Planning, Financial Reporting, Tax, Supply Chain, Legal, Human Resources, and Information Technology teams.
