Accounting Administrator

Job Details:

SUMMARY:

The position will be responsible for processing transactions such as check receivables, cattle premium and discount entries, and other data entry items related to a live production business. Also responsible for filing and maintaining documents per policies. One must be able to spot errors, learn from mistakes, and correct work on a timely basis. The person is also responsible for ensuring given workload is prioritized and planned appropriately. Admins are to process accounts daily and keep an up-to-date vendor profile. Able to work alongside the management team while performing assigned tasks and reporting. Need the ability to work cross-functionally across different departments. The person needs a strong ability to keep organized and to meet deadlines without monitoring.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: 2 plus years of office experience.

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills including generating simple spreadsheets; Microsoft Office; knowledge of SAP preferred.

Communication Skills: Must possess excellent written and verbal communication.

Special Skills: Strong organizational analytical and problem-solving skills; knowledge of multiple business units' accounting requirements and general ledger coding.
