Accounting Advisory Associate

This position would ideally start in September 2024. We are currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our Accounting Advisory Department. This team works with small-to mid-sized businesses by integrating business and owner strategies, so clients understand their impact on future success. Our professionals provide preparation of compilation and review attest engagements, including performing analytical procedures. Additionally, team members help with financial statement preparation along with forecasting and projection projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare trial balances and financial statements (compiled and reviewed) including, but not limited to, reconciling cash, accounts payable, income and expense analysis, and accrued liabilities
• Assist with initial preparation of client files and engagement letters
• Prepare income tax returns (individual, partnership, multistate, corporate, and other)
• Assist clients with bookkeeping and adjusting journal entries
• Assist in researching technical issues
• Verify the validity and accuracy of client financial matters

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field with 150 credit hours
• 0-2 years of accounting experience
• Minimum 3.0 GPA and a solid track record of academic achievements

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Exemplary communication and organizational skills
• Strong desire to learn and develop professionally
