Accounting Analyst

The Accounting Analyst will be responsible for reconciling and analyzing financial transactions and financial/bank statements associated with deposits and payments.

Expectations• Perform monthly account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, unclaimed property filings and unclaimed property reconciliations timely and accurate.• Prepare and monitor journal entries.• Research, communicate and resolve discrepancies with multiple departments.• Collect and analyze financial information for internal and external auditors.• Develop working relationships with internal business partners to support organizational goals.• Identify opportunities and work with cross-functional project teams to improve operational and financial performance across all areas of the company.• Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Competencies• Ability to research complex reconciliation issues and discrepancies.• Ability to manage, analyze, and interpret large amounts of financial data.• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.• Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft office applications.• Must be a team player; works well with others.• Ability to handle multiple tasks and stay organized.• Precise and detail oriented when handling high volume of data.• Can actively participate in cross-functional projects as well as partner with cross-functional teams

to improve processes and conduct analyses.

Requisites• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field is required.• 3-5 years of experience in accounting/finance/business analyst role.• Skills in FIS-EAS general ledger and Crystal Reports are desirable.• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.• Strong multi-tasking skills - organized and attentive to details.
