Your Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior General Ledger Accountant to join our finance team with a focus on journal entries. In this role you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and posting of journal entries reconciling accounts and supporting month-end close activities. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of accounting principles and a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Role & Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and posting of journal entries in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.
Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate and resolve discrepancies.
Support month-end and year-end close processes including preparation of accruals and prepayments.
Assist with financial reporting and analysis as needed.
Collaborate with other finance and accounting team members to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance accounting knowledge and skills.
