Accounting Analyst - CAAS

CLA is looking to hire an accounting analyst for our growing Client Accounting and Advisory (CAAS) practice supporting various clients in our Bethlehem, PA practice.

As a CAAS accounting analyst you will perform:

• Gather and organize monthly reports and workpapers.
• Assist with and file sales & Use tax returns for multiple states. Research state sales tax issues
• Verification of deposits between third party and bank, research deposit discrepancies as needed
• Assist with bank reconciliations, journal entries and other assistance with month end and year end closing process.
• Other administrative tasks as needed.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Three or more years of experience providing accounting and financial services, preferred, exceptions can occur based on work to be performed.
• Technical knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Intacct, Xero, Bill.com, Expensify) and other applicable software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
• Associates degree preferred. Equivalent work experience may be considered as a degree equivalent.
• Ability to travel to local client sites as needed.
