Raytheon's RIS Business is looking for a detail-oriented and enterprising professional to join the General Accounting team. The position will be responsible for general accounting support including journal entry preparation, balance sheet account reconciliations, and ad hoc analysis. Other areas of exposure and responsibility include flux analysis, audit deliverables, and other accounting and financial-related activities. The tasks require strong analytical skills, ability to work with detailed data, good systems skills, complex problem resolution, creativity, and effective time and resource management skills.

Required Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (specifically Excel)
• Self-starter with the ability to take the initiative and ownership of assignments and a desire to improve processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and complete work within deadlines
• Ability to quickly learn and utilize financial software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desired Skills

• CPA candidate
• Experience in accounting or finance
• Experience with SAP system
• Good organization skills; ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to interact face-to-face with senior levels of management
• Effective, pleasant, and business-like interpersonal skills

Required Education:

• Requires theoretical to advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through University Degree combined with experience. Practical knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.
• Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accounting or a closely related field by August 2022
• This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)
