About the position:
We're looking for an Accounting Finance Associate to perform accounting/finance activities with standard procedure in invoicing, general accounting, and other related areas. Ensures timely and accurate processing of financial transactions in compliance with related GAAP and IFRS accounting standards. You will:
- Perform one or more of a variety of accounting duties typically including, but not limited to:
- Compiles data and bills of lading and prepares invoices, listing items sold, amounts due, credit terms, and date of payment
- Analyzes, reconciles, researches and reviews unusual entries or balances
- Prepares standard monthly reports
- Clerical/accounting functions in accordance with standard procedures in general accounting, or related financial area.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reports utilizing Excel and internal software packages.
- Handle special administrative projects/accounts that are essential to the department and/or the Company.
- Contact other departments and/or outside agencies to resolve problems.
- Develop, improve, and maintain Standard Work documents for the department. Employs TPS concepts to reduce defects and improve process efficiencies.
- Perform related work as assigned.
- Work underlimitedsupervision from manager or more experienced staff.
- Accountable for completing assigned routine and non-routine tasks accurately and on schedule.
- Follow specific procedures in completing work tasks.
- Follow procedures in completing work tasks that can have impact on department and/or Company perception.
About the schedule:
This position may be eligible for a hybrid work schedule upon successful completion of the orientation period. Site based presence will be required weekly.
About the work environment:
Typically works under normal office conditions where required to sit for extended periods of time. Regularly spends significant amounts of time working in front of computer terminal. Needs to be able to cope with stressors and demands that are associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable and defined levels of performance are maintained.
About you:
- An Associate's Degree in a related field is preferred
- Two or more years of related experience is required.
It would be great if you had:
- Excellent Excel skills and; SAP experience a plus
- High level of attention to detail when inputting and verifying data to ensure accurate records.
- Strong listening, communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate flexibility, adaptability and dependability while working in a dynamic environment
About the total compensation package:
Salary - The salary for this position is $18.70 and up; compensation is commensurate with education and experience.

Requirements
- An Associate's Degree in a related field is preferred.
