The Position

Job Summary: 

Roche Diagnostics Saudi Arabia is hiring an Accounting Specialist to join their finance team. This role focuses on developing and maintaining accounting systems, handling key financial tasks such as supplier invoice processing, bank transactions, account reconciliations, and supporting monthly and yearly financial reporting. The position requires close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to enhance efficiency and streamline processes, ensuring smooth finance operations. The specialist will also engage stakeholders by demonstrating how Roche’s solutions meet their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute accounting tasks within a dynamic RDSA and RHQ finance department, ensuring adherence to established standards and practices.

• Collaborate closely with the Shared Services team during month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Review, update, and maintain all documentation and systems related to accounting and company finances.

• Oversee the accounts payable function, including processing invoices and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of payments.

• Contribute to the establishment and implementation of company-wide best practices in accounting.

• Organize and manage source documents, files, and other financial records efficiently.

• Ensure proper maintenance and organization of all year-end records.

• Support audits as assigned, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Stay informed on accounting policies and regulations to maintain technical expertise.

• Monitor and organize journal entries, analyze account records, and reconcile statements for month-end reporting.

• Manage all financial activities, including handling payments, invoices, and expenses, while ensuring compliance with internal controls.

• Continuously identify and implement areas for process improvement and operational efficiency.

• You have the Knowledge of standard accounting and bookkeeping principles and best practices.

• Able to effectively manage multiple priorities, whether working independently or as part of a team.

• You have Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Proactive, highly motivated, and adaptable to changing circumstances.

• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.

• Able to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.

• Experienced with SAP (preferred)

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accountancy, Finance, or a related field

• You have 3-5 years of experience in the accounting department of a multinational corporation (MNC).
