What You’re Applying For:

Reporting to the Assistant Controller, this position will provide support to the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions. 

What You’ll Do:

• Post customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions
• Expense report review to ensure accuracy and compliance with reimbursement policy
• Assist in preparing and saving financial files and statements
• Prepare month-end reconciliations
• Support AP processes that include payroll, payment processing and reconciliations
• Prepare and maintain monthly Accounting dashboard and related metrics
• Prepare and maintain Accounting policies and procedures
• Support the Editorial department with auto insurance requests
• Download daily invoices and assign Accounts Payable tickets
• Perform other assigned tasks necessary to support the Accounting Department 

What You Need:

• Prior related administrative experience
• Detailed oriented, highly organized, resourceful, self-motivated and a team player
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with Oracle Financials and Google Apps (Email, Docs) a plus
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels
