Accounting Assistant

Ernest is currently in search of an Accounting Assistant for our Corporate office located in Commerce, CA. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive pay rate along with benefits and a wonderful company culture.

The Accounting Assistant performs a variety of activities including but not limited to:

• Maintain and organize incoming vendor invoices and proof of deliveries
• Monitor and reconcile vendor statements, ensuring any discrepancies are addressed promptly. Ensure credit memos are received for any outstanding credits that appear on vendor statements.
• Responding to vendor inquiries via phone or email regarding payment status and resolving payment-related issues.
• Assist with reviewing and processing employee expense reimbursements, ensuring all documentation is correct.
• Assist with month-end closing by reviewing accounts payable reports and reconciling account balances
• Assist accounting manager with miscellaneous task

Pay range: $21-23/hour
