Accounting Associate

How you'll make an impactĀ ĀThe Accounting Associate will make an impact by leading various areas, including accounts payable, credit card programs, employee expense reimbursements, accounts receivable, 1099ās, sales tax filing, month-end close, and other ad hoc projects within the accounting department.
Success looks likeĀ Ā
- Ensuring timely payment to vendors and quick resolution to any vendor issue
- Keep accounts receivable balances current
- Meeting month-end duties by the set deadlines
- Timely filling of all sales tax returnsĀ
What you'll doĀ
- Accounts payable processing:Ā review invoices for appropriate documentation, posting invoices and credit memos, andĀ maintaining approval matrix
- Vendor relationships: onboarding new vendors, maintain vendor records, answering vendor questions & resolving payment or invoicing issues
- Vendor accruals: lead month-end accrual process related to vendor spend
- 1099s: ensure proper recording of 1099 expenses and processing year end 1099s
- Expense reports: ensure compliance with company travel and reimbursement policy
- Credit card program: maintenance of company credit cards, review and code credit card transactions & reconcile monthly credit card payments
- Accounts Receivable: review past due accounts and conduct communication with customers to resolve outstanding invoices
- Sales tax: conduct monthly filings of state income tax
- Ā Month-end accounting: assist Accountant with various tasks to ensure deadlines are met
- Special ad hoc assignments
- 2+ years of accounting experience including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Intermediate/Advanced level Excel skills (vlookups and pivot tables)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Associateās/Bachelorās Degree
- Netsuite experience
- Healthcare experience
- Ramp experience

The anticipated salary range for this role is $55,000- $70,000. This role is eligible to participate in our equity incentive plan.Ā Actual title and compensation is commensurate with qualifications and experience.Ā
