Accounting Associate

ACCOUNTING ASSOCIATE

Job Responsibilities:

• Contact customers regarding past due accounts and perform necessary follow-up
• Handle customer discounts, credits, and refunds
• Review aging reports on a regular basis
• Enter new customers into the master file system
• Keep existing master files current

• Follow sales tax laws
• Maintain customer sales tax files
• Perform analysis on potential customers
• Check potential customers' credit references
• Answers accounts receivable questions

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years prior Accounts Receivable experience
• Strong computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent phone skills
• Must be detail oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills
