Accounting Associate

Ballston Spa National Bank (BSNB) is looking to hire a detail oriented Accounting Associate in our Finance department.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE ACCOUNTING ASSOCIATE

As the Accounting Associate, you will be responsible for entering approved invoices, credit card statements, and employee reimbursements on the Accounts Payable System, ensuring compliance with all state and federal tax and regulatory requirements. In addition, you will ensure all monthly invoices have been approved and present for payment. You are extremely attentive to detail and accuracy, because you know that your work directly affects customer satisfaction. You are always friendly and patient, always providing the exceptional customer service for which we are known.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate's degree in Accounting, or a minimum of two years' bookkeeping experience required. Prior accounts payable experience a plus.
• Must have a demonstrated aptitude for working with large amounts of data with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Must be a self-starter with strong analytical skills.
• Computer skills including Excel required.
