Job Description:
As an Accounting Associate, you will assist in tracking and accounting for all expenses for marketing projects, billings (and claiming if applicable) to suppliers and subsequent reimbursements for various business groups. You will work closely with multiple departments within Arrow to ensure all expenses for assigned lines of business are accounted for properly.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Manage the partner passthrough process for one supplier which entails entering information into the supplier portal (both for creating and claiming an activity), creating WorkFront requests and purchase requisitions, and managing contract/agreement approvals w/Arrow Legal.
- Manage the Arrow Marketing Services recovery process via ADI uploads and Excel spreadsheet tracking.
- Manage the MDF process flow for additional suppliers via the use of an Excel spreadsheet and ERP analysis.
- Communicate with Marketing team about project creation, managing expenses for projects, closing out projects.
- Maintain Excel spreadsheets to assist Marketing and Accounting in tracking marketing project funding and expenses.
- Audit expenses and Proof of Performance (POP) if applicable to ensure adherence to the requirements defined by Arrow and the supplier guidelines.
- Instruct Cash Applications department how to process payments/credit memos from suppliers.
- Monitor AR aging and unbilled reports and work with appropriate departments for resolution of past due items.
- Update deferred checkbooks monthly for applicable suppliers.
- Communicate and assist the accounting team with reconciliation of various marketing accounts.
- Resolution of variances with the various marketing accounts on the balance sheet to align with the current marketing tracking tool.
- Manage setup of new suppliers in marketing tool, MDF Manager.
What We Are Looking For:
- 2-year degree and 1 or more years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or a related area OR high school graduate with equivalent related experience.
- Experience using accounting software (Oracle or another ERP system a plus).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Intermediate experience with Excel (pivot tables, simple formulas such as VLOOKUP, etc.).
- An analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to be organized and detail oriented.
- Excellent communication and prioritization skills.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing demands and to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:
$23.75 - $26.13
Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
